About Us

 Founder Members:

The Learning Collaboration (TLC) – was formed by HR Directors of local firms under the auspices of the Cambridge Network (CNL) to help companies access professional training and development.

The 3 founders are:

Sue Gibson, HR Director of Adder Technology & DisplayLink

Bill Parsons – EVP of Human Resources, ARM Holdings Ltd

Vicki Sanderson, Group HR Director of Domino Printing Sciences

TLC operates with 2 full-time staff, as a not-for-profit independent subsidiary organisation of Cambridge Network Ltd;  Membership of CNL does not automatically confer membership of TLC.

Join The Learning Collaboration:

All organisations committed to investing in the training and development of their employees are welcome to join the TLC. There are no membership fees; employer members merely pay for the training they require.

Members work with the TLC founders and staff to shape the direction and content of the TLC training calendar and other services at the regular "Content Committee" meeting. Additional informal "knowledge-share" sessions are attended regularly by members to share their experiences and skills within the group about a topic related to training or HR. In 2008, topics covered included: HR Metrics, Career Mapping, Employee Engagement and Coaching.

Employers who join The Learning Collaboration are free to contribute whatever time and knowledge they wish to our activities, some benefit purely from access to the training calendar, while others play a fuller role in promoting the TLC aim of "collaborating to learn". Request the 2010 TLC Member Event Calendar.

Whatever your organisation's size or outlook, we are sure you will find membership of TLC highly valuable, as do our existing members. We look forward to hearing from you.
