
Performance (line) Management skills
2 day course, each day separated by a 6-week assignment
This one-day workshop plus one-day follow-up will focus on the key areas of managing people:
- Day one will focus on the fundamentals of performance management and
- Day two will focus on developing effective skills
- Both days will include practice sessions
Aim of the course
To introduce delegates to the principles of effective line management of staff.

Pre course preparation
Delegates will be asked to bring along any problems or issues they have with line management they have worked on in the past.

Activities
This two-day course will contain a mixture of formal input and activities including:
- Individual, paired and group work
- A work based assignment for presentation to the group on day 2
